Winter magic
In the winter everything You can hear is „snow“.
Skiers and snowboarders have their fun on our skiing mountain Kronplatz, cross-country skiing, sledging, ice-skating, winter hiking.
Another alternative to the skiing is the snowshoe hiking. Together with the Alpine School Pustertal we have organized snowshoe hiking tours which take place every Wednesday.

... This will really be a great summer! Boredom is a word which is definitely out this year. Come on, leave your parents at the hotel and join us! Are you looking for fun, entertainment and adventure? We have it all! We’ll make sure that your holiday will be a really memorable one.
Dear parents, don’t have qualms about leaving your children with our qualified childminders and mountain guides. The tourist office has compiled a children’s programme which leaves no wish unfulfilled.

Children’s Programme
Summer child care (23 June - 14 August 2008)
This summer a special child care programme based on the initiative of the tourist office will be offered. It will be provided for children aged 3 to 11 years in the Kiens kindergarten.
The programme will be organised by the “Verein der Kinderfreunde Südtirol” in cooperation with the childminders. It includes trips to farm houses, visits to the forester or museums, a variety of sporting events (e.g. children’s Olympics, football matches) and many other activities such as painting, playing games and doing handicraft.
We will open our gates on 23 June and take your child under our wings until 14 August 2008(from 9.00 am to 4 pm).
The summer child care programme offers flexible scheduling: the children can join us for individual days or weeks, they can stay with us all day or just in the morning or in the afternoon. The child care fee per child per day will be about € 15.00, including lunch.

High-wire adventure course at the Schwarzbachalm mountain pasture.
Whether you just want to give it a try or redefine your limits, here you’ll find high-wire fun for groups and families (children aged 11+).
Every Thursday or on request (from 11 June to 17 September 2008)
Participation fee: 35.00 euros.

ABSEILING HOLIDAYS with mountain guide Markus Neumair

Fully equipped with helmet and harness, children from 6 to 12 years will experience mountains of adventures on Schwarzbachalm (mountain pasture). Under the professional supervision of the mountain guide the children will be introduced to the various climbing and roping techniques.
High wire, ropeway across the river, climbing and abseiling, little vie ferrate, and Himalayan bridge.
Meeting point: 8.45 am at the tourist office; return: at about 4.30 pm.
Number of participants: maximum 12 children.
Equipment: good footwear, suitable clothing (helmet and harness will be provided).
Participation fee: € 40.00, including supervision, pick-up service, lunch and drink.

It’s the perfect place for mountainbikers and cyclists who want to be, pardon, cycle in the holiday region of the Kronplatz. Starting from a well extended network of cycle tracks between the single places of the valley, numerous pleasantly laid forest paths and marked cycle tracks lead you – down to your whim and competence either enjoyable or sudatory - to the most profitable places and guarantee a great gathering of hikers and cyclists. The holiday region Kronplatz offers you no less than 1,163 km of cycling routes and paths.

“A symphony of meadows, wood and gentle mountain ranges in front of the fortissimo and the clear fanfares sound of rejoicing peaks and ridges of the Dolomites on one side and of the Zillertaler Alps on the other.” For those who don’t know the Pustertal this would be a proper description. In the course of their weekly hiking tours the tourism boards of our holiday region would like to invite you to feel out this wild and yet cultivated land.
