Natural parks
On the way to the top
Three of the seven South Tyrolean national parks are located in the Kronplatz Holiday Region:
Fanes-Sennes-Prags National Park with its legendary magical world,
Rieserferner-Ahrn National Park with its imposing 3000ers and
Puez-Geisler National Park. In these ecologically intact areas, protecting nature and the landscape is paramount. Regardless of the season, when you go on extensive tours in the national parks, you'll come across a unique plant world and see some "exotic" little animals. Those who want to, can go on organized nature walks on which experts explain the cycles in nature. This makes hiking twice the fun! You'll find detailed information on the various topic-oriented walks in the national parks on our local web pages.
