With our direct connections to the slopes, our guests can leave their car at the hotel and travel to the lifts the easy way: by train - every day! Just hop off the train at Perca-Percha and into the gondolas of the Ried cable car!
Do you have a Dolomiti Superski ticket and would like to explore new slopes without having to take the car? No problem at all. There are direct trains running every 30 minutes (on weekdays) or every hour (on weekends) between the resorts Kronplatz and Alta Pusteria-Hochpustertal. Get to know new landscapes and plan your day on the slopes as you like!

In the winter the municipality of Kiens with its villages and hamlets of Kiens, Ehrenburg, St. Sigmund and Hofern presents itself with an outstanding panorama. Located on the River Rienz at 786 m above sea level, Kiens is blessed with a sunny snow-covered landscape which holds great attractions for winter walkers. Young and old can have great fun on the toboggan run. Kiens, however, has plenty to offer for all kinds of winter sports enthusiasts. Twice a week there is a special bus with ski guides which takes more demanding cross-country skiers to a well-known and beautiful cross-country ski area. Only 10 km from Kiens, the Kronplatz, a large ski area served by interconnecting lifts, offers non-stop skiing enjoyment to skiers and snowboarders. There is a skibus (Kiens- Percha- Kronplatz) (Hofern - Kronplatz) (service to the Kronplatz skiing paradise. Cleared winter walking paths, horse-drawn sleigh rides through snow-covered landscape and well-groomed cross-country trails invite you to enjoy a day without skiing. Another alternative to skiing is snowshoeing. In collaboration with the Alpinschule Pustertal (Alpine ski and mountaineering school) we have compiled a list of snowshoe walks and tours, which take place every Wednesday.

In Kiens we prepare about 20 km of double-tracked trails, which can be used for free by our cross-country skiers.

Every Wednesday  (28.12.2011 to 14.03.2012) you have the possibility to be guided to wonderful cross-country ski loops. Fixed cost: € 9,00.

Dolomiti Nordicski – Europe`s largest Nordic Skiing carousel

Skicarosello is the name given to the skiing area that extends between Corvara, La Villa, San Cassiano and the plateau of Pralong - Cherz. It is a carousel of 25 ski lifts and over 80 km of slopes that to be fully explored requires a minimum of 2 days and does not require a fixed itinerary. For expert skiers the showpiece of the carousel are the 2 black runs: the "Gran Risa" in La Villa, famous for the World Cup men's giant slalom and the "Vallon" to Corvara. The latter, offers 4.3 km of downhill fun with 997 m altitude difference. Fixed cost: € 12,00€.
